U14 BOYS EXTRA ARE 2013 STATE CHAMPIONS
REGION 5 HISTORY WAS MADE ON MARCH 17, 2013 IN DAVIS, CA. THE BOYS U14 EXTRA TEAM WON THE 2013 EXTRA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BY DOMINATING A TEAM FROM MARTINEZ, CA IN THE SEMIFINALS AND THEN DESTROYING A TALENTED TEAM FROM VALENCIA, CA. THIS IS A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT CONSIDERING THERE ARE ABOUT 500 U14 EXTRA TEAMS IN THE STATE. THE REGION IS ESPECIALLY PROUD OF THESE BOYS FOR THE SPORTSMANSHIP SHOWN ALL YEAR LONG.
The players are: Hector Barrientos, Marc Caparoso, Koby Dykman, Matt Faris, Josh Faris, Aaron Hoang, Kyle Le, Richard Montes, Christian Myers, Johnny Nguyen, Michael Pham, Jakob Portillo, Kevin Solorzano, and Zachary Young. The head coach is Pancho Castruita.

We have new training we would like all
volunteers, Coaches, and Referees to take before the
upcoming season starts.

Referee game signups are done here. Step by step instructions are here.
Referees are asked not to sign up for U5 or U6 games since the Coaches do that job.
All Referees must check in at the Region 5 Referee tent prior to the matches you are working, at least 35 minutes prior to game time please. You will only have to check in one time regardless of how many matches you are scheduled for.
For U10 games and up, you may not sign up to be a referee for your own child's game. Only as a last resort, if no other referees show up for the match, should you referee a match with your child playing - and only with the permission of both Coaches.
